Got this musical baton from skoop.
Haven't been updating this in quite some time, but I guess <lj
user="steefkwadraat" /> isn't really the place for this sort of
thing.
Total volume of music files on my computer…
Well, let's see. E:\mp3\ counts 102GB (109.533.409.280 bytes), which
contains 27.446 files in 1.720 folders. I can assucre you it is ever
growing.
The last cd I bought was…
Three cd's at the same time:
Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze
Eels - Blinking Lights and Other Revelations
Fantomas - Suspended Animation
- quite 'normal' cd's for my taste ;^)
Song playing right now…
YMA Sumac - Ataypura
(besides having a rather large Frank Zappa collection (about 2.500
tracks) and a shitload of (death) metal, I also have a lot of people
might call 'world music': Arabian, African, Indian, South American and
so on.
Five songs I listen to a lot/mean a lot to me…
Those change a lot over time. Right now, I'd say
- Eels - Not ready yet (great mood, great lyrics, gets me every time)
- Cannibal Corpse - Hammer smashed face (never a better song to go bezerk)
- Spinvis - In de staat van narcose (one of the most beautiful songs in
the dutch language, especially the live version with the time machine
band)
- Morbid Angel - World of Shit: the promised land (this song has
everything that death metal should be: slow, menacing guitar licks,
evil sounding licks, deep, low groans, fast double bass drums and a
killer ending when it gathers up speed)
- Queens of the Stone Age - In the fade (actually, a lot of QOTSA songs
will do just fine for me, but this one I've been listening a lot to
lately) |
